Accommodation

The accommodation is in portacabins. There are 6 beds per room, mattress, pillows and furniture to store belongings in is provided. There is a separate washroom with toilets, showers and washbasins.

The kitchen facilities include kettles, cooking pots, cutlery, crockery, tables and chairs. All employees must provide and cook their own food and keep the living areas clean and tidy.

There are washing machines provided for employees to use. There is also a television lounge and a broadband internet facility.

The accommodation costs £31.57 per week, which is deducted from your wages.

Please note there is no separate accommodation for couples.

The lifestyle and location

Employees can expect a friendly environment in the heart of the Kent countryside. The farm is set in a rural location 10 minutes walk from the town of West Malling where there are supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. In the town you will also find a library. There is also a mainline railway station direct to London, which is an hour away.

Three stops in the other direction is Maidstone which is the County town of Kent, where there are nightclubs and a busy town centre for shopping.
